Hare class have fully enjoyed the past fortnight. We have participated in many extra activities including anti-bullying week; crazy hair for children in need; STEM day and a yoga session. In maths, the children have started a new unit on Multiplication and Division which will see us through to the new year. We have been learning how to multiply and divide by 10, 100, 1 and 0 as well as by 3 and 6 in more depth. In English, the children have been planning and drafting their own newspaper articles about a defeated monster. The children have been really engaged in their writing and it has been interesting to read some of their creative ideas. In our music lesson we have started to prepare for our Christmas concert. The children have taken to their ukulele lessons well and are very excited to show their adults all the skills they have been learning. Mrs Giles and I would also like to thank the children for participating in their ‘make your own ukulele’ homework. We were thrilled with the children’s effort and loved hearing how they were all made. We will be displaying these at school until the new year and will share photos of them on the website in due course so keep your eyes peeled!
