Walking up to Lacon Childe School to watch the Snow White pantomime was a great way to start the Spring Term. It was so much fun, Miss Carter even got involved in a dance off, we thought she was amazing!
For STEM Week, we have focused our learning on ‘Under the Sea’. As a class, we made a list of the animals that we know live both on land and in the sea, such as turtles. We also played a matching game where we identified various species of animals, too.

The girls were invited up to Lacon Childe School for a Disney football session with Ms Stokes and the young leaders. The girls had a great time and came back showing us their football skills.

"We had lots of fun and kicked the ball around so much." - O.P
For Red Nose Day, everyone wore an item of red clothing and donated one pound. There was also an opportunity to guess how many sweets were in the sweet jar. Whoever got the closet won the whole sweet jar!

The children have discussed features of teddy bears that have continued to stay the same and features that have changed over the past 100 years. They have brought in their own favourite teddy bear from home, showing and describing this bear to other children in the class. They have ordered different teddy bears on a timeline and have pointed out the key changes and features that have continued over time.
We made puppets for DT. First we had to design them, then we made them out of felt. We added decorations with googly eyes, foam and buttons.
