Multi Skills – Thursday 12th January 2023

Today we were invited to a Multi Skills Festival at Lacon Childe School. We had a fun afternoon playing on lots of different activity stations, there was target shooting, throwing balls over the net, space hoppers, hockey and ladders and hurdles.

We had a visit from the nurses. They told us how to wash our hands properly to help us keep healthy.

STEM Day - Under the Sea

We began by looking at a PowerPoint presentation about Dan the Diver, he went under the sea in a submarine. Dan showed us fish, sharks, octopus and turtles. We also looked at the coral and talked about it being a living creature, we all thought they were very pretty.

During our work on the book Hands Surprise we looked at the country of Africa, we looked at the places that they live, the houses that they live in, the weather and how they carry objects.
