We were invited to watch a production of Snow White at Lacon Childe School.
We learnt about different creatures that live under the sea and the different depths of water that they live in.
Then, we made jellyfish in a bottle.

We marked Chinese New Year, which was the year of the rabbit. To celebrate Chinese New Year, we made Chinese dragon pictures. The children practised their cutting and designing skills.
We have been learning about primary and secondary colours. We created a piece of art in the style of Jasper Johns.
We thought about women who have done something inspirational. We talked about people like: Queen Elizabeth II, Florence Nightingale, Mary Seacole, Lucy Bronze and many more.
We wore odd socks or silly socks to school to support Down Syndrome Day.
In science, we have been investigating plants. We planted broad bean seeds and placed them in different locations. As well as the different locations, we thought about what plants needed to survive. Can you see which seed had no water or which seed had no light? We found out what the best conditions were for seeds to germinate and grow into a healthy plant.
