Joyuex quatorze juillet!
Today, we learnt about the national festival, which is held in France to celebrate Bastille Day.
We dressed in red, white and blue, the same colours as the French flag— La Tricolore.
We had la petit dejeuner—croissants, pain au chocolat and baguette as a mid morning snack. The Y6 children acted as waiters to practise their French.
We learnt about cities in France and sketched the Eiffel tower.
To end the day, Moles class learnt to play boules and palet, which are traditional French games.
At the end of the day, I was delighted to have been served some cooking from Ducklings. Superbe!
