Class News > 23.09.22

It has been lovely to see the children settle down so nicely into Badger Class. They have been really enthusiastic about their new learning and have been keen to show what they know. In phonics, we have been recapping all of the sounds that they learnt last year. We have been using these sounds to write labels and captions. I have been so impressed with the lovely adjectives that the children have used to describe the pictures that they have seen. In maths we have been exploring comparison symbols, it has been great to see the children using more complex mathematical language as they have grasped the concepts that we have covered. We have begun to explore our topic of 'Our World' making sketch maps of the school. In science the children have thought about the different kinds of weather that we have and what different things we may need to wear in each kind of weather.

We have set up the online platform for reading at home, login details for this should have come home on Friday 22nd September. If you have any queries then please do not hesitate to ask.
