We started the term by voting for our class School Council representatives.
We discussed the job of a School Councillor and thought about the qualities that the person should have.
We thought that the councillor needed to be :

Trust worthy

Good at listening

Confident to talk in front of a large group

Kind
Then, the candidates made their speeches to try and convince us that they would be a good representative for Deer Class.
After the candidates had presented their speech, each member of Deer class had one vote.
As we live in a democracy, the candidates with the most votes became our School Council representatives.
