Our topic this half term will be Marvellous Me! During the topic we will be looking at our families and pets so if you could please send any photos either in or on DoJo (joining details are attached) that would be great. We will also be looking at our local area and so we will be having a walk around Cleobury Mortimer. As part of our work on our bodies we will be looking at parts of our body and talking about what keeps us healthy. We will then look at People who Help Us like Doctors, Nurses, Vet, Dinner ladies etc and then at the end of the topic we will have a Superhero Day where the children can dress up as someone who help us or their favourite Super Hero.
Our PE day is on a Thursday so if the children could please come dressed in their PE kits that day it would be great.
On Fridays we have Forest Friday so please remember to send your children in their old clothes ready for our adventures. The children can leave their waterproof all in ones and wellies in school as we do use them on other days during the week. Also, on a Friday it is treat snack day so if you would like to send your child in with a small treat of their choice that would be lovely, if it can be named that would be wonderful.
Each day one of the children is chosen at random to be our line leader for that day, at the end of the day that child will bring home the ‘Chat Chest’, this chest can be filled with anything that the children would like to share with their friends, it could be toys or photos, the chest can then be returned to school the next morning.
Please can no other toys be brought into school as we are always worried they will get lost or damaged.
